This year’s Winterfest January 20-22 attracted hundreds of people for games, activities, food and fun. Sponsored by Healthy Island Project, the event breaks up the long stretch of winter.

The WinterFest basketball tournament was hosted by the Island Community Center on January 22. Four men’s and one women’s team entered the four-on-four double elimination contest. Holly Eaton called the plays and Royce Fifield and Will Morey refereed. The winning team, from left: Bennett Gray, Jay Boyce, Mario Bartlett and Justin Boyce.
