Child and Family Opportunities, Inc., in Hancock County is still accepting applications for its 2012-13 programs. CFO’s Head Start programs for 3- to 5-year-olds are available in Sedgwick and Stonington. Programs are free to eligible families and include breakfast and lunch.

In Sedgwick, childcare services, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, are also available, and provide a nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack as part of the program. The extended hours of operation are developed to accommodate the needs of working families.
