DISHS Golf team is fifth in state

The golf team made a great effort to come in fifth in the state tournament at Natanis Golf Club. We were only five strokes from the third place finish and George Stevens was fourth one stroke ahead of us.

Sam Grindle was Class C medalist with a 3 under par 69. Connor Morey had a superb round of 79. Drew Siebert had a 100, Alec Eaton 108 and Nathan Davis 111. It was unfortunate that our number three player Nick Eaton was ineligible due to grades. Overall, this was the best performance we have had in golf in a long time.
