No takers for open sanitary district seats in Stonington
No opposition for CSD seats

There will be but one municipal candidate listed on Stonington’s annual town meeting ballot: Donna Brewer. Brewer will seek reelection to a second three-year seat on the board of selectmen.

There were no takers for three open seats on the sanitary district board. Two three-year “in district” seats and one three-year “at large” seat could be filled by write-in candidates.

For the CSD school board, voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballots for three open seats: a two-year seat for which Holly Eaton has taken and returned papers and two there-year seats with candidates Andy Vaughn and incumbent Mark Cormier.

Stonington’s elections and town meeting will take place on Monday, March 4.
