Blue Hill Concert Association brings Fortin & Latour

Piano duo Fortin & Latour to perform in Blue Hill, Maine

The Blue Hill Concert Association, bringing concerts to Blue Hill for more than 35 winters, continues its concert season on Sunday, March 9, with the return to Blue Hill of the Canadian piano duo Andrée-Anne Perras-Fortin and Jean-François Latour, the association announced in a news release.

Graduates of the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Peabody Conservatory, the husband and wife duo met in Montreal in 2005 and shared their passion for music. They made their début at the Unversité de Sherbrooke in 2006. In addition to playing together, they pursue solo careers and have performed on five continents.

The concert will feature a display during intermission of works by photographer Stephen Rappaport as well as information from the Friends of the Bagaduce Chorale.

The concert begins at 3 p.m. at the Congregational Church in Blue Hill. Tickets may be purchased at the door or at blue hillconcertassociation.org. The Blue Hill Concert Association admits all students for free. For more information, visit the website or call 374-5196.
