Veazie, Young promoted at BHBT
Curtis C. Simard, president and CEO of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, along with the board of directors, announced the following promotions:
Lisa Veazie, VP/Regional Branch Relationship Manager for Blue Hill and Deer Isle, promoted to oversee Ellsworth, Milbridge and Winter Harbor; Christopher Young, VP/Regional Branch Relationship Manager for Ellsworth, Milbridge and Winter Harbor promoted to VP/Product Management and Delivery.
Veazie has been with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust since 2002. She is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking. Active in her community, she is on the board of the Island Nursing Home, Blue Hill Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, and is a trustee for Nichols Day Camps. She resides in Blue Hill with her husband, Douglas, and their two children.
Young rejoined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in 2011. He will work with partners throughout the bank and industry to identify and develop products and services to meet customer demand. He will steer new product innovation, implementation, and improvements in service delivery. In addition to his new role, he will continue to manage the bank’s Customer Service Center. A George Stevens Academy graduate, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine, Orono. He is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking and the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Management. In the community, he serves on the Blue Hill Memorial Hospital board of trustees, is a corporator of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, and volunteers his time to various organizations. He lives in Blue Hill with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children.
